Terms, Privacy & Shipping

Due to huge increase in demand for skate goods & as with most companies & couriers, there may be small delays with shipping/delivery. Like most skate shops we are a small, skater owned & operated, family run business. There is unusually high demand at the moment which has caused delays with the UK skate shop suppliers. Because of individual staff work load increase messages may not be answered as quickly as usual. We will get back to you as soon as possible & thank you for your understanding.  Please email or message via our Facebook page. We would also like to thank every one of our customers for their support.

Since Brexit & the Covid-19 global pandemic we are experiencing some delays from EU based suppliers. They are doing everything they can to get deliveries to us as soon as possible, but some orders may be delayed while we await new stock. This mainly affects Chaya/Powerslide brand & stocked items, Supreme, Impala & some Suregrip items.

Pre-Order & order in Items

Pre-Order Items are available for purchase if we have a due date in the next few months. Individual item listings will include information with the due date for each item. By purchasing a pre-order item you are accepting that the item will not ship until the items due date. The due dates listed are an estimate provided by the suppliers & are subject to change. Due to the global pandemic there is increased demand for skate products, this means that due dates may change, we reserve the right to change expected due dates on item listing descriptions according to the information provided to us from suppliers. When we receive the items from the suppliers you will then be given your shipping information. All estimated shipping time frames are approximate & we are not responsible for delays with international suppliers, couriers or customs. You are still entitled to 14 days distance selling regulations on receipt of your item for usual stock items. You will be asked to confirm you agree to the terms & conditions at checkout, any requests to cancel pre-order items & order in items after purchase but before their arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the value of the item/s ordered as a non refundable deposit. This is because you are instructing us to purchase your item from the supplier. Placing an order for & purchasing pre-order items is accepting of these terms & conditions & as such constitutes a legally binding contract. Items specified in the description as order in are non returnable. Items the customer has agreed to wait for that were otherwise listed as available to purchase are then deemed to be pre order items. Delivery times provided in idividual listings for pre order & order in items are approximate, delivery times may vary & estimates include working days not weekends. We are not responsible for the skate brand suppliers, manufacturers or their couriers speed of operation.

Custom items, made to order, order in & special order items are non refundable. This is because it is being made to order specifically for you. This is in accordance with UK consumer law.

Damage caused to skates, plates, their components or toe stop threads by dragging of adjustable toe stops as a method of stopping with void the warranty regardless of the age of the skates. The toe stops are not designed to be dragged to slow the user & doing so will cause damage to the thread of the toe stops. We will not be held responsible for this & will accept no liability. Use of skates in this manner is entirely at your own risk. We check all skates, plates, toe stops & their components before they are shipped from us to make sure they are in full working order. Plate Mounting
We take great care when mounting plates and have a wealth of experience however please understand that this service requires us to use all sorts of tools and may result in the occasional scratch to the plate or inside of boots. This does not & will not affect skating or overall functionality of the boots or plates. By agreeing to us to mount the plate you are accepting this possibility. We document each & every build/skate mount/remount we do so you can be sure that every area of your skates has been checked over & has been mounted to a high quality.

Due to the nature of plate mounting & it being done by hand, there may be slight differences in plate position between boots. This is nothing to worry about & is quite normal. We measure & re-measure each mount we do to make sure the plates follow the centre line of the boots & check each mount to make sure that they roll straight.

If you have sent us skates to be mounted or remounted then you are responsible for all shipping costs to return your goods to you. If you wish for us to arrange a courier the amount of postage you are charged at checkout will be credited from the final cost from the courier, we will send you a online basket for the total postage amount. This is because your skates are important to you & we make sure to send your skates fully tracked & insured, you will need to let us know the total value of all boots, plates & components sent to us so we can insure them for the correct value.

Skate mounting takes time & we will need your skates for a minimum of a week before they are completed.
